This is a judged event run to competition standards, designed specifically for handlers and dogs who are just beginning their competitive journey in dog sport. Whether you're testing your training or taking part for the experience, this is a brilliant place to start. Eligibility This event is open to dogs and handlers who have not previously competed in any competitive dog sport or club-level competition. You are welcome to remain at the Foundation level until you qualify in Beginners or above within the UK Dog Sport framework. What to Expect We want your first competition experience to be positive and confidence-boosting. To support that: ✅ Toys may be carried, and brief play is allowed during the round. ✅ Food may be used as a reward between exercises – please be considerate of the ground for the next team. ✅ Extra praise, encouragement, and additional commands are welcomed. Each round is judged but delivered with encouragement and fairness. This is your chance to gain experience, learn, and celebrate everything you’ve been working on in training. ✨ Ready to enter? Cancellation Policy
ClickStart Dog Training – Booking Policy Payment is required in full at the time of booking to secure your place. Payment can be made by bank transfer or online. If you need a payment plan, please contact us before booking. Cancellations made 14 days or more before the start date will be refunded minus a 25% administration fee to cover processing and preparation costs. Cancellations made within 14 days of the start date are non-refundable, as spaces are limited and cannot usually be reallocated at short notice. If you or your dog are unwell, please get in touch as soon as possible. We may offer to transfer your booking to a future course or session at our discretion. If your booking starts within 14 days of purchase, you agree to waive the statutory cooling-off period under the Consumer Contracts Regulations 2013. If weather conditions or other factors make training unsafe or unsuitable, we may postpone a session. Any affected classes or events will be rescheduled, not refunded. If a course is cancelled due to low enrolment, you will be offered a transfer or full refund. Only kind, science-based or ethical training methods are permitted. Harsh handling, shouting, lead jerking, or the use of aversive tools (such as choke chains, prong collars, spray collars or rattle bottles) are not allowed. Please do not bring dogs who are unwell or contagious. Dogs who have received the kennel cough (bordetella) vaccine should not attend for three weeks after vaccination, as it is a live vaccine. By booking, you accept responsibility for your dog’s behaviour and safety during all training sessions. ClickStart Dog Training accepts no liability for injury, loss, or damage to property, dogs, or persons.
