UK Dog Sport & Tracking Does your dog love learning, searching, and having a job to do? This course combines two fantastic activities that challenge both mind and body. Dogs will develop teamwork and control through UK Dog Sport exercises, while also learning to follow scent trails through Tracking, one of the most natural and satisfying jobs a dog can do. It’s a brilliant way to build focus, confidence, and a stronger partnership between you and your dog. What We Will Work On UK Dog Sport Skills These sessions focus on developing teamwork, control, and engagement. Exercises may include: Heelwork and handler focus Recalls and send-away exercises Retrieving skills Search squares Building enthusiasm for working with you Tracking Foundations Tracking allows dogs to use their incredible noses to follow a scent trail left by a person walking across the ground. Dogs will learn to: Learn to lay a track Imprint the dog to the scent Keep their nose down and commit to the track Work through turns and wind direction Indicate articles left along the track Tracking is mentally satisfying for dogs and often has a wonderfully calming effect. Course Structure The course runs for 8 sessions, with the focus alternating each week between Tracking and UK Dog Sport. Booking Options You can book each block separately or join the full course. UK Dog Sport (4 weeks) – £75 Tracking (4 weeks) – £75 Full 8 Week Course – £140 (Best Value) Book both together and save £10. Who Is This Course For? This course is suitable for dogs who enjoy learning and working with their handler. It’s perfect for: Active dogs who enjoy having a job to do Dogs that love sniffing and searching Owners who want to explore working activities in a fun and supportive environment All breeds are welcome. What To Bring A comfortable harness and flat collar A standard lead (no slip leads or retractables) & a long line for tracking sessions (if you have one) High value treats Your dog’s favourite toy Dog bowl & water Poo bags Class Guidelines Lead Requirements Dogs must remain on lead at all times while on the showground unless instructed otherwise during an exercise. Designated Walking Areas Please walk your dog only in the designated areas and keep them on lead when moving around the grounds. Clean Up Please pick up after your dog and take it home with you. Cancellation Policy

ClickStart Dog Training – Booking Policy Payment is required in full at the time of booking to secure your place. Payment can be made by bank transfer or online. If you need a payment plan, please contact us before booking. Cancellations made 14 days or more before the start date will be refunded minus a 25% administration fee to cover processing and preparation costs. Cancellations made within 14 days of the start date are non-refundable, as spaces are limited and cannot usually be reallocated at short notice. If you or your dog are unwell, please get in touch as soon as possible. We may offer to transfer your booking to a future course or session at our discretion. If your booking starts within 14 days of purchase, you agree to waive the statutory cooling-off period under the Consumer Contracts Regulations 2013. If weather conditions or other factors make training unsafe or unsuitable, we may postpone a session. Any affected classes or events will be rescheduled, not refunded. If a course is cancelled due to low enrolment, you will be offered a transfer or full refund. Only kind, science-based or ethical training methods are permitted. Harsh handling, shouting, lead jerking, or the use of aversive tools (such as choke chains, prong collars, spray collars or rattle bottles) are not allowed. Please do not bring dogs who are unwell or contagious. Dogs who have received the kennel cough (bordetella) vaccine should not attend for three weeks after vaccination, as it is a live vaccine. By booking, you accept responsibility for your dog’s behaviour and safety during all training sessions. ClickStart Dog Training accepts no liability for injury, loss, or damage to property, dogs, or persons.
