UK Dog Sport Skills - 4 Week Course UK Dog Sport is a fun and engaging activity that develops focus, teamwork, and clear communication between dog and handler. These sessions focus on building the foundation skills used in UK Dog Sport exercises while strengthening the working partnership between you and your dog. Dogs learn to work with enthusiasm, precision, and confidence through a variety of exercises designed to challenge both mind and body. What We Will Work On Exercises may include: Engagement and focus work Heelwork and handler attention Recall exercises Send away and distance work Retrieves Search squares These sessions are suitable for dogs who enjoy learning new skills and working closely with their handler. Course Details Duration: 4 weeks Session Length: 1 hour Schedule: Sessions run fortnightly (every other week) Price: £75 It’s perfect for: Active dogs who enjoy having a job to do Dogs that love sniffing and searching Owners who want to explore working activities in a fun and supportive environment All breeds are welcome. What To Bring A harness or flat collar A standard lead (no slip leads or retractables) High value treats Your dog’s favourite toy Dog bowl & water Poo bags Class Guidelines Lead Requirements Dogs must remain on lead at all times while on the showground unless instructed otherwise during an exercise. Designated Walking Areas Please walk your dog only in the designated areas and keep them on lead when moving around the grounds. Clean Up Please pick up after your dog and take it home with you. Cancellation Policy
ClickStart Dog Training – Booking Policy Payment is required in full at the time of booking to secure your place. Payment can be made by bank transfer or online. If you need a payment plan, please contact us before booking. Cancellations made 14 days or more before the start date will be refunded minus a 25% administration fee to cover processing and preparation costs. Cancellations made within 14 days of the start date are non-refundable, as spaces are limited and cannot usually be reallocated at short notice. If you or your dog are unwell, please get in touch as soon as possible. We may offer to transfer your booking to a future course or session at our discretion. If your booking starts within 14 days of purchase, you agree to waive the statutory cooling-off period under the Consumer Contracts Regulations 2013. If weather conditions or other factors make training unsafe or unsuitable, we may postpone a session. Any affected classes or events will be rescheduled, not refunded. If a course is cancelled due to low enrolment, you will be offered a transfer or full refund. Only kind, science-based or ethical training methods are permitted. Harsh handling, shouting, lead jerking, or the use of aversive tools (such as choke chains, prong collars, spray collars or rattle bottles) are not allowed. Please do not bring dogs who are unwell or contagious. Dogs who have received the kennel cough (bordetella) vaccine should not attend for three weeks after vaccination, as it is a live vaccine. By booking, you accept responsibility for your dog’s behaviour and safety during all training sessions. ClickStart Dog Training accepts no liability for injury, loss, or damage to property, dogs, or persons.
