Service Description
Sniffer Dog Trial Workshop & Level 1 Trials Weekend Train Saturday. Trial Sunday. Build confidence together. This special weekend is designed to help handlers understand what goes into a sniffer dog trial, practise the key skills involved, and then put everything into action in a supportive trial environment. Saturday focuses on learning and understanding the elements of a trial. Sunday gives you the opportunity to put those skills into practice. Spaces are limited to 10 teams to keep the experience calm, supportive and well structured. Booking Options ⭐ Weekend Bundle – £85 Attend both days and save. This option includes: • Full Sniffer Dog Trial Workshop on Saturday • Entry to the Level 1 Sniffer Dog Trials on Sunday Recommended for teams who want to learn the process and then put it into practice. Day 1 – Sniffer Dog Trial Workshop Saturday | 10:30am – 3:30pm Individual booking fee - £60 This workshop focuses on the skills, handling and decision-making involved in a sniffer dog trial. Rather than rushing through exercises, we take the time to break down what judges look for and how handlers can support their dogs effectively. During the workshop we will explore: • Indication and commitment to source • Independent searching • Area coverage and search strategy • Team partnership and handler choices • Reading your dog and knowing when to support vs step back • Understanding trial scoring and judging Each team will complete one practice run, while the rest of the group will have the opportunity to score and judge. Seeing things from the judge’s perspective often brings real clarity to handling and decision making. All teams attending the workshop will receive a certificate of attendance. Please note: • Bring your own lunch • Tea and coffee facilities available (microwave access) • Limited to 10 teams Day 2 – Level 1 Sniffer Dog Trials Sunday Individual booking fee - £35 Sunday gives teams the opportunity to experience a structured sniffer dog trial in a friendly, supportive environment. Each team will complete three searches: • Line-up • Indoor search • Outdoor search There will be: • Certificates for all teams completing the trial • Rosettes Suitable for teams working at Level 1 and those looking to gain experience in a trial environment. What to Bring: • Flat collar or harness • Non-retractable lead • RED Kong for target odour work • High-value treats • Toy or reward • Water bowl and water • Poo bags

Cancellation Policy
ClickStart Dog Training – Booking Policy Payment is required in full at the time of booking to secure your place. Payment can be made by bank transfer or online. If you need a payment plan, please contact us before booking. Cancellations made 14 days or more before the start date will be refunded minus a 25% administration fee to cover processing and preparation costs. Cancellations made within 14 days of the start date are non-refundable, as spaces are limited and cannot usually be reallocated at short notice. If you or your dog are unwell, please get in touch as soon as possible. We may offer to transfer your booking to a future course or session at our discretion. If your booking starts within 14 days of purchase, you agree to waive the statutory cooling-off period under the Consumer Contracts Regulations 2013. If weather conditions or other factors make training unsafe or unsuitable, we may postpone a session. Any affected classes or events will be rescheduled, not refunded. If a course is cancelled due to low enrolment, you will be offered a transfer or full refund. Only kind, science-based or ethical training methods are permitted. Harsh handling, shouting, lead jerking, or the use of aversive tools (such as choke chains, prong collars, spray collars or rattle bottles) are not allowed. Please do not bring dogs who are unwell or contagious. Dogs who have received the kennel cough (bordetella) vaccine should not attend for three weeks after vaccination, as it is a live vaccine. By booking, you accept responsibility for your dog’s behaviour and safety during all training sessions. ClickStart Dog Training accepts no liability for injury, loss, or damage to property, dogs, or persons.
