Service Description
Puppy Progression Class – 6 Week Course If you’ve completed our Puppy Class and you’re ready for the next step, this course is the perfect way to continue your dog’s early training in a calm, supportive environment. Our Puppy Progression Class builds on the foundations you’ve already learned, helping you move from “puppy basics” into reliable, real-world skills. We’ll help you develop clearer communication, tidy up the training you’ve started, and give your young dog the confidence to work around distractions. What We’ll Cover Across the 6 weeks, we’ll work on: ✨ Reducing reliance on food lures Helping your puppy move from “following the treat” to understanding the behaviour itself. ✨ Putting behaviours on cue Sit, down, stand, touch, recall and more, taught clearly so your dog responds when asked. ✨ Working through distractions Dogs, people, movement, sounds, learning to focus even when the world is interesting. ✨ Better manners in everyday life Calm greetings, polite lead walking, waiting nicely, coming away from temptations. ✨ Building confidence & relationship Games and exercises to help your puppy think, listen and feel settled around you. Who This Class Is For: This course is ideal if you’ve already completed our Puppy Class or have similar foundations in place. It’s designed for pups who: Need more practice in real-life situations Benefit from structure and routine Are ready to move beyond basic luring Enjoy learning and responding to their handler Are happy to work around other puppies at a comfortable distance If you’re unsure whether this class is the right level for your pup just message us, we’re always happy to advise. What to Bring Flat Collar or Harness Lead: Non-retractable, no slip leads. Treats: A selection of your dog's favourite treats (moist treats like sausages work best). Toy: Your dog’s favourite toy. Dog Bowl & Water Poo Bags Mat/Bed: For your dog to settle on. Brush Note: Perfect Fit Harnesses, Training Leads, Toys, and Treats are available for purchase at the training venue. Class Guidelines Water and Bowl: Please bring your own. Attendance: Only registered dogs may attend. Leads: Keep your dog on lead at all times within the grounds. Designated Walking Area: Walk dogs on lead only in the designated area. Clean Up: Please clean up after your dog and use the provided bins or take poo bags with you. Behavioural Concerns: If your dog barks or lunges at other dogs or people, please contact us to discuss 1-2-1 training

Cancellation Policy
ClickStart Dog Training – Booking Policy Payment is required in full at the time of booking to secure your place. Payment can be made by bank transfer or online. If you need a payment plan, please contact us before booking. Cancellations made 14 days or more before the start date will be refunded minus a 25% administration fee to cover processing and preparation costs. Cancellations made within 14 days of the start date are non-refundable, as spaces are limited and cannot usually be reallocated at short notice. If you or your dog are unwell, please get in touch as soon as possible. We may offer to transfer your booking to a future course or session at our discretion. If your booking starts within 14 days of purchase, you agree to waive the statutory cooling-off period under the Consumer Contracts Regulations 2013. If weather conditions or other factors make training unsafe or unsuitable, we may postpone a session. Any affected classes or events will be rescheduled, not refunded. If a course is cancelled due to low enrolment, you will be offered a transfer or full refund. Only kind, science-based or ethical training methods are permitted. Harsh handling, shouting, lead jerking, or the use of aversive tools (such as choke chains, prong collars, spray collars or rattle bottles) are not allowed. Please do not bring dogs who are unwell or contagious. Dogs who have received the kennel cough (bordetella) vaccine should not attend for three weeks after vaccination, as it is a live vaccine. By booking, you accept responsibility for your dog’s behaviour and safety during all training sessions. ClickStart Dog Training accepts no liability for injury, loss, or damage to property, dogs, or persons.
