Service Description

Puppyhood is the best time to start training your dog to become confident, good-mannered, happy and well-rounded. Our Puppy Class runs The Kennel Club Good Citizen Puppy Foundation Scheme that will help you learn and gain confidence teaching your new puppy essential life skills in a kind, fun and effective way. Our 6 week Puppy Class covers basic training (such as sit/stays, coming back when called, walking nicely on lead and food manners) as well as plenty of information and top tips on all things puppy (including puppy biting, separation anxiety and toilet training)! Sessions typically last 45 minutes with 5 minutes at the end dedicated to Q & A time, so if you are having any issues you can talk to one of our experienced instructors for support & guidance. Puppies can join from 10 weeks of age and after their first round of vaccinations up to 6 months. What You Will Need: Flat Collar or Harness Lead (non-retractable, no slip leads) Selection of Dogs' Favourite Treats (moist treats like sausages are best) Dogs' Favourite Toy Dog Bowl & Water Poo bags Mat/Bed (for your dog to settle on) Brush *Perfect Fit Harnesses, Training Leads, Toys and Treats available to purchase at training venue* How classes will be running: >Please bring your own water and bowl. >Only dogs registered in the class may attend. >One handler per dog. >You must keep your dog on lead at all times within the grounds. >Dogs to be walked on lead at designated dog walking area only. >Please clean up after your dog and take poo bags with you or in the bins provided. >If your dog barks or lunges at other dogs or people please get in touch to discuss 1-2-1 training with our dogs to help prepare them for the class environment.
