Service Description
Puppy Class - 6 Week Course Puppyhood is the ideal time to start training your dog to be confident, well-mannered, happy, and well-rounded. Our 6-week Puppy Class follows The Kennel Club Good Citizen Puppy Foundation Scheme, equipping you with the skills to teach your new puppy essential life skills in a kind, fun, and effective way. Course Overview Our comprehensive 6-week course covers: Basic Training: Sit/stays, recall, walking nicely on lead, and food manners. Focus and Engagement: Techniques to keep your puppy's attention. Health Checks and Grooming: Basics of maintaining your puppy's health and appearance. Socialisation: Proper ways to introduce your puppy to new environments and other dogs. Play/Drop: Teaching appropriate play behaviour and the "drop" command. Calm/Settle: Encouraging your puppy to relax and settle down. Puppy Care Tips: Insights on puppy biting, separation anxiety, and toilet training. Each session lasts 45 minutes, with an additional 5 minutes for Q&A, where you can seek personalised advice from our experienced instructors. Eligibility Puppies can join from 10 weeks of age after their first round of vaccinations up to 6 months old. What to Bring Flat Collar or Harness Lead: Non-retractable, no slip leads. Treats: A selection of your dog's favourite treats (moist treats like sausages work best). Toy: Your dog’s favourite toy. Dog Bowl & Water Poo Bags Mat/Bed: For your dog to settle on. Brush Note: Perfect Fit Harnesses, Training Leads, Toys, and Treats are available for purchase at the training venue. Class Guidelines Water and Bowl: Please bring your own. Attendance: Only registered dogs may attend. Leads: Keep your dog on lead at all times within the grounds. Designated Walking Area: Walk dogs on lead only in the designated area. Clean Up: Please clean up after your dog and use the provided bins or take poo bags with you. Behavioural Concerns: If your dog barks or lunges at other dogs or people, please contact us to discuss 1-2-1 training to prepare them for the class environment.

Cancellation Policy
ClickStart Dog Training – Booking Policy Payment is required in full at the time of booking to secure your place. Payment can be made by bank transfer or online. If you need a payment plan, please contact us before booking. Cancellations made 14 days or more before the start date will be refunded minus a 25% administration fee to cover processing and preparation costs. Cancellations made within 14 days of the start date are non-refundable, as spaces are limited and cannot usually be reallocated at short notice. If you or your dog are unwell, please get in touch as soon as possible. We may offer to transfer your booking to a future course or session at our discretion. If your booking starts within 14 days of purchase, you agree to waive the statutory cooling-off period under the Consumer Contracts Regulations 2013. If weather conditions or other factors make training unsafe or unsuitable, we may postpone a session. Any affected classes or events will be rescheduled, not refunded. If a course is cancelled due to low enrolment, you will be offered a transfer or full refund. Only kind, science-based or ethical training methods are permitted. Harsh handling, shouting, lead jerking, or the use of aversive tools (such as choke chains, prong collars, spray collars or rattle bottles) are not allowed. Please do not bring dogs who are unwell or contagious. Dogs who have received the kennel cough (bordetella) vaccine should not attend for three weeks after vaccination, as it is a live vaccine. By booking, you accept responsibility for your dog’s behaviour and safety during all training sessions. ClickStart Dog Training accepts no liability for injury, loss, or damage to property, dogs, or persons.
