Service Description

Odour Indication Workshop: Progression Take your dog's indication to the next level. This workshop is designed for teams who have completed our previous Odour Indication Workshop and have spent time practising the foundation exercises at home. Over the past few weeks, you and your dog should have been developing a clear, confident indication. If you're both ready, we'll now build on those foundations and introduce the next stages of training to create a more reliable indication within real searches. During this practical two-hour workshop we'll focus on: • Consolidating the foundation behaviours • Building duration and commitment at source • Working through arousal and distractions • Transferring the indication onto the target odour or article • Integrating the indication into the search We'll coach each team at their own pace, ensuring both handler and dog understand each stage before progressing. Our aim is to develop clear communication, confidence, and a reliable indication that your dog can carry into more challenging searches. This workshop is suitable for teams who have attended our Odour Indication Workshop. Progression will always depend on each dog's understanding and confidence, so we'll tailor the exercises to suit each partnership. Duration: 2 hours Venue: Cwmcloch, Meidrim, SA33 5PQ
