It combines the excitement of scent detection with the satisfaction of a purposeful retrieve, giving dogs a meaningful job to do and giving you a structured, fun way to train together. 🐶 What's involved: • Dogs will locate a hidden article using scent, building confidence and commitment • Handlers will guide retrieves, shaping delivery to hand and fluent teamwork • Exercises grow progressively, adding complexity, challenge, and just the right amount of adventure! 💡 Why Try Hunt & Retrieve? What to Bring: Flat Collar or Harness Lead: Non-retractable, no slip leads. Treats: A selection of your dog's favourite treats (moist treats like sausages work best). Toys: 2 x your dog’s favourite toys. Dog Bowl & Water Poo Bags Note: Perfect Fit Harnesses, Training Leads, Toys, and Treats are available for purchase at the training venue. Class Guidelines: Water and Bowl: Please bring your own. Attendance: Only registered dogs may attend. Leads: Keep your dog on lead at all times within the grounds. Designated Walking Area: Walk dogs on lead only in the designated area. Clean Up: Please clean up after your dog and use the provided bins or take poo bags with you. Behavioural Concerns: If your dog barks or lunges at other dogs or people, please contact us to discuss 1-2-1 training to prepare them for the class environment. Ready to Start the Adventure?
