UK Dog Sport Foundations UK Dog Sports (UKDS) is a fun activity that combines obedience, scentwork & agility into one exciting sport. Building confidence, focus and enthusiasm, it's perfect for dogs who love to learn and handlers looking for a varied and rewarding training experience. No previous UK Dog Sports experience is needed. 📅 Course Details Start Date: Tuesday 1st September 2026 Time: 5:30pm Location: Carmarthen Showground Duration: 5-week course Cost: £95 🐾 What You'll Learn Over six weeks, you'll be introduced to a variety of foundation skills from the UK Dog Sports programme, including: Heelwork – Build focus, engagement and teamwork. Recall & Retrieve – Develop enthusiasm and reliability. Sendaway – Teach your dog to confidently run to a designated target. Stays – Improve self-control, confidence and duration. Jumps, Tunnel & A-Frame – Introduce agility-style obstacles in a safe, supportive way. Search Squares – Encourage natural hunting instincts while introducing scent detection skills. Throughout the course, we'll focus on creating confident, motivated dogs that enjoy working alongside their handlers while developing the skills needed to progress through the UK Dog Sports levels. 🌟 Why Choose UK Dog Sports? Cancellation Policy
ClickStart Dog Training – Booking Policy Payment is required in full at the time of booking to secure your place. Payment can be made by bank transfer or online. If you need a payment plan, please contact us before booking. Cancellations made 14 days or more before the start date will be refunded minus a 25% administration fee to cover processing and preparation costs. Cancellations made within 14 days of the start date are non-refundable, as spaces are limited and cannot usually be reallocated at short notice. If you or your dog are unwell, please get in touch as soon as possible. We may offer to transfer your booking to a future course or session at our discretion. If your booking starts within 14 days of purchase, you agree to waive the statutory cooling-off period under the Consumer Contracts Regulations 2013. If weather conditions or other factors make training unsafe or unsuitable, we may postpone a session. Any affected classes or events will be rescheduled, not refunded. If a course is cancelled due to low enrolment, you will be offered a transfer or full refund. Only kind, science-based or ethical training methods are permitted. Harsh handling, shouting, lead jerking, or the use of aversive tools (such as choke chains, prong collars, spray collars or rattle bottles) are not allowed. Please do not bring dogs who are unwell or contagious. Dogs who have received the kennel cough (bordetella) vaccine should not attend for three weeks after vaccination, as it is a live vaccine. By booking, you accept responsibility for your dog’s behaviour and safety during all training sessions. ClickStart Dog Training accepts no liability for injury, loss, or damage to property, dogs, or persons.
