Puppy Class Taught by Cath Vincent Give Your Puppy the Best Start in Life Bringing home a puppy is exciting, but it can also be challenging. Biting, jumping up, pulling on the lead, toilet training and selective hearing are all part of puppyhood, but you don't have to navigate it alone. Our 6-week reward-based Puppy Training Class in Carmarthen is designed to help you raise a calm, confident and well-mannered dog while building a fantastic relationship through fun, positive training. Throughout the course you'll learn practical skills to use every day, including: 🐾 Focus & Engagement 🐾 Sit, Down & Stand 🐾 Recall 🐾 Loose Lead Walking 🐾 Leave It & Self-Control 🐾 Settle & Relaxation 🐾 Confidence Building 🐾 Appropriate Social Skills 🐾 Handling for vets & grooming We'll also cover common puppy topics such as biting, toilet training, chewing, enrichment, preventing unwanted behaviours and understanding your puppy's body language, giving you the confidence to enjoy life together. Our classes follow the principles of the Kennel Club Good Citizen Dog Training Scheme and use modern, science-based reward training that's enjoyable for both you and your puppy. With small, friendly classes, you'll receive plenty of individual guidance to help your puppy learn at their own pace in a supportive environment. Whether this is your first puppy or you've owned dogs before, we'll help you build the foundations for a lifetime of great adventures together. Classes are held in Carmarthen and are ideal for puppy owners across Carmarthenshire, including St Clears, Whitland, Kidwelly, Llanelli and Llandeilo. Spaces are limited to keep class sizes small, so we recommend booking early to secure your puppy's place.

Cancellation Policy
ClickStart Dog Training – Booking Policy Payment is required in full at the time of booking to secure your place. Payment can be made by bank transfer or online. If you need a payment plan, please contact us before booking. Cancellations made 14 days or more before the start date will be refunded minus a 25% administration fee to cover processing and preparation costs. Cancellations made within 14 days of the start date are non-refundable, as spaces are limited and cannot usually be reallocated at short notice. If you or your dog are unwell, please get in touch as soon as possible. We may offer to transfer your booking to a future course or session at our discretion. If your booking starts within 14 days of purchase, you agree to waive the statutory cooling-off period under the Consumer Contracts Regulations 2013. If weather conditions or other factors make training unsafe or unsuitable, we may postpone a session. Any affected classes or events will be rescheduled, not refunded. If a course is cancelled due to low enrolment, you will be offered a transfer or full refund. Only kind, science-based or ethical training methods are permitted. Harsh handling, shouting, lead jerking, or the use of aversive tools (such as choke chains, prong collars, spray collars or rattle bottles) are not allowed. Please do not bring dogs who are unwell or contagious. Dogs who have received the kennel cough (bordetella) vaccine should not attend for three weeks after vaccination, as it is a live vaccine. By booking, you accept responsibility for your dog’s behaviour and safety during all training sessions. ClickStart Dog Training accepts no liability for injury, loss, or damage to property, dogs, or persons.
