UKSD Scent Detection GOLD TRIALS Farm-Themed Trial attendees will need to competently complete 4 Timed Searches for 11 Target Scents (Kong, Gun Oil, Truffle Oil & Catnip). Search 1: River - Water Search (1 hide on Kong) - 1 minute Search 2: Hay Bales - Novel Environment ( x 6 hides: 3 Gun Oil, 3 Truffle Oil) - 6 minutes Search 3: Workers - People Search (x 1 hide on Kong, 3 people) - 1.5 minutes Search 3: Gate Entrance - Active Search (3 x hides) - 3 minutes Pass: 8 hides found Merit: 9-10 hides found Distinction: 11 hides found All attendees who pass will receive Official UKSD Gold Scent Detection Trial Certificate & Rosette. * SPECIAL prizes will be awarded to the most hides found in the fastest time over all 4 search areas and individual fastest search time! * > Basic (rustic) facilities available. > Practice search areas available. > On-lead field walk and river dipping available. > Feel free to bring a picnic tea with you. > Please keep all dogs on lead.
