The body of Mr. Pinscher, the Proprietor of the Inn, was found at the premises. The forensic team arrived on the scene and estimated the time of death to be 5.05pm. Traces of poison has been detected on the body and thought to be the cause of death. Police have cordoned off the area and are holding three suspects: Mrs Bassett, the cleaning lady, who was overheard arguing with the deceased just hours prior to his demise. Miss Brittany, the waitress, who was seen fraternising with the late proprietor by members of staff. Mr. Dandie Didmont, a local customer originally from the Scottish border, has run up an extensive bar bill, who friends and family state has been close to breaking point. Detective Inspector Wendy McBeagle and her trusty forensic scientist, Dr Catherine Shepherd, are rallying up their top sniffer dog teams to search the premises for evidence to conclude their report.
