Service Description

UKSD Bronze Scent Detection 6-Week Course for Beginners. Bronze Level Series 1 & 2. Learn how to train your pet dog to become a detective! Our qualified & experienced instructors will introduce you to scent training techniques & exercises for you to enjoy with your dog. As well as coaching on your training programme and handling of searches. You will learn how to train your dogs to search items such as pipes, bags, chairs, novel environments & vehicles. What You Will Need: RED Kong (Please feed out of a RED Kong a week prior to your first class) Harness Long Lead/Longline (non-retractable, no slip leads) Selection of Dogs' Favourite Treats (moist treats like sausages are best) Dogs' Favourite Toy Dog Bowl & Water Poo bags (RED Kongs, Perfect Fit Harnesses, Training Leads, Toys and Treats available to purchase at training venue) How classes will be running: >Please bring your own water and bowl. >Only dogs registered in the class may attend. >One handler per dog. >You must keep your dog on lead at all times at the grounds. >Dogs to be walked on lead at designated walking area only. >Please clean up after your dog and take poo bags with you or in the bins provided. >If your dog barks or lunges at other dogs or people please get in touch to discuss 1-2-1 training with our dogs to help prepare them for the class environment.
