Bronze/Silver GCDS Class

Service Description

The Bronze/Silver GCDS Class is an 6 week course that runs The Kennel Club Good Citizen Dog Scheme (KCGCDS) at Bronze & Silver level. This class is for those who have undergone basic training in our Puppy, Puppy Progression, Adolescent Classes or 121 Training which offers fun, practical dog training skills and introduces new concepts that aim to provide handlers with a good knowledge and understanding of training their canine companion. We will consider clients who have done puppy training else where as well if there is room, so please contact us so we can make sure this is the right class for you. This Course Will Cover: Focus & Engagement Play On-Lead Walking Road Walks Manners at the Door Control Around Other People and Dogs 1-2 Minute Stays Recall Health Inspections & Grooming Participants will be given the chance to undergo The Kennel Club GCDS Bronze/Silver test when the class group are ready. What You Will Need: Flat Collar or Harness Lead (non-retractable, no slip leads) Selection of Dogs' Favourite Treats (moist treats like sausages are best) Dogs' Favourite Toy Dog Bowl & Water Poo bags Mat/Bed (for your dog to settle on) Brush (Perfect Fit Harnesses, Training Leads, Toys and Treats available to purchase at training venue) How classes will be running: >Please bring your own water and bowl. >Only dogs registered in the class may attend. >One handler per dog. >You must keep your dog on lead at all times within the grounds. >Dogs to be walked on lead at designated dog walking area only. >Please clean up after your dog and take poo bags with you or in the bins provided. >If your dog barks or lunges at other dogs or people please get in touch to discuss 1-2-1 training with our dogs to help prepare them for the class environment.
